Welcome to the Argyll Arms Hotel, Southend.
The hotel is nestled on the edge of the village of Southend and is the watering hole for the locals of the village. During the Summer months the Argyll Arms Hotel is pleased to welcome people from all walks of life who visit Kintyre. From those who camp at Dunavery Caravan Site , walkers who have completed the Kintyre Way and golfers who have played a round at Dunavery Golf Course. The hotel provides meals and snacks which are served all day and has three ensuite bedrooms.
In September 2011, Malcolm and Lynn became the new oweners of the hotel. In their first months, they have redecorated most of the hotel, including the bar and dining room and refurbished two of the bedrooms. The hotel is now a comfortable and welcoming place to be.
Plans are afoot for quiz nights and talent nights to entertain their guests and in the restaurant they will be going around the world by having Indian nights and sushi nights to name but two.
Everyone is welcome at the Argyll Arms Hotel, especially dogs who will be greeted with a bowl of water and some doggy biscuits and they are also welcome to stay with us.
